Fancy spinning gold? Then this is your chance. Muga silk, or Assam silk, is a high quality wild silk, and is naturally a spectacular golden colour. It spins up into a lustrous yarn with plenty of raw silk texture. Muga silk is known for its durability - often it outlasts its owner, and has traditionally been used for heirloom pieces and in ceremonial and royal textiles.

It's very special fibre with a lovely handle, and a little goes a long way.
