Campfire - Shetland - 100g

This Shetland takes dye so beautifully, and these autumnal colours suit it perfectly. It's a lovely mix of olive, chestnut, gold, plum and dark brown that brings to mind a crackling autumn campfire, over which chestnuts are toasting.

100% British Shetland

Shetland is one of my favourite fibres. It's soft enough to wear next to the skin for most people. It's springy, beautifully textured, strong and water resistant. It's perfect for socks, sweaters, hats and mitts, and of course, for shawls.  Shetland spun very finely has traditionally been used for lace shawls of exquisite delicacy.

Each braid weighs 100g.
