This is a lovely blend of Merino, Corriedale, Bluefaced Leicester and Alpaca fibres. Merino is buttery soft, Corriedale and Bluefaced Leicester are soft, but hard wearing and have a delightful and interesting texture, and alpaca is light, very warm and adds drape and a slight fuzziness to the final yarn.
This is perfect fibre for socks, thanks to the hardiness of the BFL and Corriedale, the softness of the Merino and the warmth of the alpaca. It's next to skin soft, so can also be used for scarves, hats, gloves and more. This is a great fibre for beginner spinners to use, as the blend of wools combines softness with easy drafting and nice 'grabbiness'.
The colours are a delicious mix of peach and pink, and are inspired by the sparkling, sweet Bellini. Just thinking of them makes me think of summer - Prosecco bubbles mixed with smooth, sweet peach nectar.
